I chose 91ÖÆƬ³§atMSU because I believed it would be a great opportunity for me to learn more about the department here at 91ÖÆƬ³§ and all that it has to offer, as well as interact with my fellow students who may have similar pursuits in relation to their department. 

Favorite spot on campus?

My favorite campus hangout is probably Barnes & Noble or anywhere outside in the shade.

The couch in Freeman Hall.

You’re doing better than you think, and it only gets better from here.

Behind the Scenes: Spring 2023 Introduction to the Business of Museums

Each of the 12 students in the Spring 2023 Introduction to the Business of Museums course at Mississippi 91ÖÆƬ³§ University learned about different careers in museums by actually stepping into a professional position found in museums today. During the semester-long assignment, students worked in the Lois Dowdle Cobb Museum of Archaeology to update the layout, displays, and text panels. At the end of the semester they successfully launched a new exhibition and hosted a public reception in the museum.
